i went to the clinic the other day,
and as i was waiting for the nurse to call my name,
my eyes caught onto one of the posters pasted on the wall which is regarding body mass index (BMI)..
This is how it works..
FIRST
you need to scale your weight,
after that, measure your height..
CAUTION:
get a person that u can trust to do all of the above
for your weight scaling, make sure your pockets are empty (it might add a few pounds xD)
for your height, get someone taller to have a correct reading of the meters..
SECOND
Do a little calculation:
BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (m) / Height (m)
BMI Categories:
- Underweight = <18.5
- Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
- Overweight = 25-29.9
- Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
example:
Weight: 65kg
Height: 1.73m
65kg divide by 1.73m divide again with 1.73m = 21.7 (BMI)
21.7 is at the normal category..
